Behavioral Skills Training Series

In this course we show parents how to utilize behavioral skills training (BST) with their child with autism. BST is an excellent strategy to use to increase functional, safety, and communication skills. It is a great technique in applied behavior analysis (ABA) for when we are unable to teach in real-world scenarios due to danger or lack of opportunity. Some instances that may be acceptable for BST are crossing the street, administering first-aid, communicating with peers, advocating for oneself against bullies, and much more.
